Employment 765 646-9268 The Madison County Youth Center (MCYC) is a public social service agency dedicated to supporting youth who, for a variety of reasons, have been referred for services through the Madison County Superior Court, Division 2. It is the responsibility of MCYC staff to help empower these children to become confident, productive members of their families and our community. Job Requirements for All Positions Must be 21-years of age All prospective employees are required to have and maintain a valid driver's license. All prospective employees are required to pass a drug screen prior to employment and are subject to monthly random drug screens throughout the term of employment. A criminal history check will be conducted on all prospective employees. This includes a local, state, national, and BMV check. In addition, all non-secure childcare employees will be fingerprinted and an FBI and DCS (Department of Child Services) check will be completed. All prospective employees must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Upon hire, all employees are required to have a physical exam at the employee's expense. Staff is required to maintain a minimum number of training hours per year. Staff is required to obtain and maintain certification in Handle with Care (physical restraint training), First Aid, CPR and Universal Precautions.
