In the later summer months of 2005, the Surveyor's Office was contacted by a property owner affected by the Henry Kemp Regulated Drain. A request was made for a surface drain to be constructed to work in conjunction with the tile drain. On February 9, 2006, the survey for the Henry Kemp Regulated Drain was completed by the Surveyor's Office field crew. On August 20, 2006, John Dorow, P.E. was hired for the purpose of designing a surface drain through that portion of the drain in which it was needed. Mr. Dorow delivered the design plans to the Surveyor's Office in December 2006. Inclimate weather delayed the construction of the surface drain to May 2007, but the surface drain was completed by mid-May. |
